When I had to do, I have two offers, one Irish proverb / blessing to honor their heritage and a Pole (in Polish) and in order to honor his legacy. I have translated in the Polish world event, not because most of the guests know the language. I gave them a book with the sentence and said the Irish Polish, with translation and share in their wedding album.

You should say what is in your heart. Talk about what your sister does for you and why she and her husband are a great team.
ReplyDeleteHave some funny stories about his sister. They do not bother them, but it's fun, some of these stories fraternal share with the audience.

Keep it simple, if you can not laugh and then try to be honest. At that time she met her future husband, places, things, who have sought it. How much happier since I met him, blah blah blah. (I mean that in a good way), but I think I understand. Good luck!
