Before my studies at a local university, I took courses in ICS. When I turned to the university, I asked if my credits transferred ICS. They said no ... not accept credits from correspondence schools. Take the sentence.
ReplyDeleteNote that the ICS schools offer not be confused with traditional brick and mortar schools, courses on the same campus are available through distance learning format. In these schools there is no difference between the on-campus and distance learning options and loans obtained in them may be transferable. You want to do the traditional May-schools research, the courses in distance education, many of them now. Try the DANTES Catalog Home: http://www.dantescatalogs.com/
More importantly, the school is accredited? Just visit a college major, and ask whether they too accept copies of ICS. If not, stay far away. This will only waste your time and money because potential employers can not hire you. You want someone with a degree from a recognized institution.
ReplyDeleteAlso, if you try to log in from another school, while their education is at stake if you do not have accreditation. Do not let that someone not from a school accredited say something else or try to convince you.
I saw an ad on TV for an online school, and requested additional information. During his follow-up call, I asked them if they are admitted, and said: "No, but ...." I said, "Sorry, not interested". They know that the student is a smart consumer notice.
Many years ago, my sister went to a local business school and disappeared for two years. After graduating, he tried to employment in their respective areas to obtain. An employer, said: "We prefer to hire someone on the street and even train." This can typicathe experience of non-students admitted.
If the school is accredited, go ahead. You have rules for excellence in education and the diploma is proven to be of great value.
